Fantagraphics Gets Beastly
Now back to some Morphizm stuff. I've been blowing my brains out trying to build a new template for our multimedia future. There is just so much stunning visual content, from art to video, that is available for viewing out there, that it would be a disgrace to think that we can drag our predominantly textual past into the new millennium. In other words, Morphizm loves the PacNorth comics publishing powerhouse Fantagraphics. They've been pals of the site for longer than I can remember, and that fine tradition continues with our latest sneak peek into their upcoming collection Beasts: A Pictorial Schedule of Traditional Hidden Creatures. You may not find a more compelling catalogue of the planet's collective nightmares on parade, especially one rendered with such terrifying and sometimes hilarious visual brilliance. Sneak a Morphizm peek here at the eye-popping collection. You could stuff worse into your stocking, before and after the new year.
Also included for your entertainment on that preview is a screening of F.W. Murnau's timeless classic Nosferatu. Goddamn I love the internet mediaverse. I love it to death.
