My Father Works in a Sci-Fi Room!
My pop recently celebrated his birthday, and sent along the strangest of commemorative photos. That is him, far right, in a badass anechoic chamber he manages along with a group of other smart people who I have not met as yet. In another life, he has been a Morphizm contributor, writing many compelling satires on race and class which I cannot name for fear of him getting mad at me. But I can't get enough of the look of his daily environment, and that dark structure that towers over them in the photo like the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Does that mean my dad will talk to the giant Space Baby in the sky and use Hal 9000 as a mediator? The possibilities are endless. In any case, thanks so much for developing my interest in science, sci-fi and the environments of both, dad. I love you much, and so does everyone else that leans on you without fail for guidance and wisdom. Keep building cool shit in cool rooms!

Thanks, son.
That was a classified picture, so now I'll need to have you de-commissioned. Don't want another "Bob Dole in Kansas" incident on my record.
Keep up the subversion.
Love, Pops
